ARMANI has released a new commercial for its ARMANI CODE EAU DE TOILETTE, described as “a seductive eau de toilette for the contemporary man”.
The spot features Ryan Reynolds and French actress Elodie Yung in a darkroom, where they develop some photos and almost share a kiss. Interrupted by the sound of a car with two men chasing them, Reynolds and Yung soon find themselves on the run. Arrived on the edge of a rooftop, they hold hands and get ready to jump.
The soundtrack music is provided by I Can’t Hear You by American alternative rock band The Dead Weather, from their second studio album, “Sea of Cowards,” released in 2010.
ARMANI CODE EAU DE TOILETTE combines a citron cocktail of bergamot scent and lemon with soft notes of olive tree blossom, warmed with Guaiac wood and Tonka Bean.
Reynolds was unveiled as the face of new Armani Code Fragrances in 2019. He then appeared alongside Elodie Yung in a commercial directed Emmy Award winning Reed Morano of “The Handmaid’s Tale” fame.
