Samsung promotes, in its latest commercial, the Spring For Something New Event, highlighting that you’ll get up to $500 back when you buy Samsung this season.
The 30-second spot opens with a little girl watching as her family’s refrigerator is being taken away. Glimpses to her dad, who’s also apparently overwhelmed by nostalgia, and to the family’s dog, who’s barking at the window, seeing the appliance, with family photos and his small bone toy stuck on it, ready to be loaded in a truck, are also given, while in the background a cover of “I Will Always Love You” is heard. The next shot features the girl’s mother in front of their new Samsung refrigerator, selecting the song “Trifecta” by SJ Sliink to play and dance along.
“It’s a great time to let go. With theSamsung Spring For Something New Event. Upgrade to Samsung and get up to $500 back,” the voiceover says at the end of the ad, which also informs that this deal requires a purchase of three or more appliances over $5000 and online claim.
If you make a purchase of a lower value, you still have the chance to get money back: when you buy three appliances over $3,000, you can get $300 back and when you buy two over $1,500, you can get $150 back.
