Ralph Lauren showcases, in a new commercial, some of the pieces included in the Ralph Lauren Spring 2018 Collection.
The 30-second ad stars models donning the Adrien Striped Silk Shirt, “meticulously constructed”, according to the fashion house, in Italy from silk crepe “sourced from a 90-year-old fabric mill near Lake Como”, matching Caldwell pants, the Sheena Cotton Strapless Dress, which is “printed with artful stripes in the season’s signature palette and hand-finished at the waist to evoke the look of watercolors”, the Sawyer Silk Tuxedo Jacket, the O’Hara Gingham Oxford Gown, an Italian-made gown which “elevates classic gingham shirting fabric through elegant draping, creating a feminine, revealing silhouette”, and others.
The song used in the commercial is the 2015 single “I Can Feel Your Love” by Hot As Sun, the stage name of Los Angeles-based songstress Jamie Jackson, from ther 2016 album “Little Friend”.
The Spring 2018 collection for women also includes an embroidered combat jacket, a navy button-trim pencil skirt, inspired by nautical uniforms and featuring antiqued-brass anchor-embossed buttons, an intarsia-knit shawl cardigan, featuring two front waist ribbed welt pockets, intarsia-knit tiger, rose, mountains and “PRL” embroidered at the front and intarsia-knit tiger, roses, and mountains at the back, a belted suede shirtdress, a lace-up linen sweater, a twill military jacket, a sequined camo cotton T-shirt, suede skinny cargo pants, Hawaii satin bomber jacket, jogger pants, bags, and more.
