Goodfella’s Pizza has released a new ad, highlighting that the brand has a wide range of products, to suit all ages and tastebuds.
The 20-second ad, titled “Every Fella,” features a variety of characters as Goodfella’s pizza consumers, from “little fella’s”, referring to kids, obviously, to “busy fella’s”, referring to working parents who opt for the brand’s products for dinner, “proud fella’s”, referring to football fans, “unlucky fella’s”, referring to those who end up hurting themselves in unexpected ways, such as hitting a pole while roller skating, “cheesy fella’s”, showing this time a boy who loves cheesy pizza so much that he uses a themed bed cover, cheesy pizza-themed clothes and accessories, “get in there fella’s”, referring to a shy couple who start making out after she finds the courage to make the first move, “night in fella’s,” “good craic fella’s,” showing a family on a road trip as they bang their heads to the tune of rock music.
“Every kind of fella,” the voiceover highlights at the end of the advert, urging then viewers to “Gather round a Goodfella’s”. The soundtrack music is “Woo Hoo” (originally released by The Rock-A-Teens in 1959) performed by Japanese rock trio The 5.6.7.8’s and included on their 1996 album, “Bomb the Twist”. Their version gained cult popularity when it was featured and performed by them in Quentin Tarantino’s 2003 movie “Kill Bill: Vol. 1”. The song, which has been recorded, over the years, by many other bands, also appears in the movie Glory Road, in the soundtrack of the 2013 video game Rayman Legends, in an advertisement for Carling beer and in a Vonage advertising campaign in the U.S.
The brand’s offering includes Thin Crust Takeaway Pizza, which was voted Product of the Year 2018 following Consumer Survey of Product Innovation, Stonebaked Thin Pepperoni Pizza, Deep Pan Baked Deliciously Cheese Pizza, Takeaway Slice ‘n Share Mighty Meat Feast, Gluten Free Pepperoni, Mushroom & Ham Pizza, and Extra Thin Pepperoni & Chorizo Pizza.
