Channel 4 has released the official trailer for its brand new drama series “Shamed”, scheduled to premiere on December 19th, at 9pm.
The drama centres around Sarah Ivy, a 27 year old woman who gets revenge after being kidnaped and raped by tho men, ten years before. Helped by her brother, Sarah manages to capture them and lock them both in cells.
“He thinks he has the perfect life, she thinks she has the perfect plan” – the voiceover says on the 30-second spot.
Written and directed by Anthony Philipson and starring Faye Marsay (Game of Thrones, Black Mirror) in the leading role, the series also features Nick Blood, Ryan McKen, Tanya Fear and Mark Quarterly.
The song playing in the trailer is “You Send Me” by Sam Cooke (released in 1957).
