UK’s largest employment agency website Reed.co.uk has launched its first 2023 advert, which continues the famous “Love Mondays” theme.
The spot is created like a musical with the protagonist, a curly-haired young man on his way to work on a Monday morning, performing the following song:
“Catch me smiling when you look my way,
I’m back on course now,
It’s a whole new day.
Now, I love Mondays,
Mondays are working for me,
I can be the person that I wanna be,
now that I’m certain
My Mondays are working for me.”
Other people are shown dancing in the streets as he passes by, on his way to the office, where he is greeted with a smile.
In 2018, the recruitment website showed, in a series of ads, that nothing stops people from getting to work once they’ve found a job they love.
Employees were featured battling through gale-force winds and braving the busy commute to get to work. In 2019, Reed showed the nation how it feels to love your job.
