Kia urges you, in its latest ad, showcasing the Kia Sportage, to kickstart your dream, while celebrating its status of official automotive partner of FIFA Confederations Cup 2017, International football tournament to take place in Russia from the 17th of June to 2nd of July.
The 90-second spot starts with a young woman in a locker room, marking with an “X” the day on her June calendar,
which has the date of 17 circled. She is shown training hard every day until the event, which reveals to be a FIFA match. The ad highlights, thus, that the woman, who is not a football player, but a referee (who’s driving a red Kia Sportage), kickstarts her dream and urges you to do the same.
The FIFA Confederations Cup, for whose smooth running Kia Motors has supplied 83 vehicles, is contested by the holders of each of the six regional championships (Australia, Cameroon, Chile, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal), along with the FIFA World Cup holder (Germany) and the 2018 host nation (Russia).
