Versace has released a series of new spots, part of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2019 advertising campaign.
One of them features Bella Hadid in a Floralmania print dress, sitting on the floor of an empty room and hugging a brown dog, while in the background the song “Swan Lake: Ballet Suite” by Sung Eun Choi is playing.
The multicoloured Floralmania print mini dress from Versace features cap sleeves, a fitted silhouette, a ruched design and a slanted boat neck and is priced at $1,798.
Archival prints, iconic motifs and retro-inspired details are reinvented for the new collection. Thus, the Italian powerhouse proposes for this season multicoloured short dresses with all-over print, shirt dresses with an allover baroque print design, mini dresses with iconic motifs, black dresses – some with a stretch fit and a logo trim, some with lace details, some made of silk, dresses embellished with various elements, and more.
Artistic Director Donatella Versace also stars in one of the installments in the brand’s SS19 campaign. Donning a black jumpsuit, she is featured in an empty room, as well, holding a vase with archival graphics. The spot is in reverse, with the object returning into Donatella’s hands from the floor, after being broken. The piece of classical music serving as soundtrack is “Toccata And Fugue In D Minor, BWV 565: Fugue” by E. Power Biggs.
