The new advert for Foster’s, the Heineken-owned Australian beer, shows what a man is able to do in order to see from the first row his favorite rugby team playing and then to brag about this in front of his friends, at a beer.
Created with the slogan “Why the hell not?”, the 61-second video centers around a young man who becomes the first male rugby cheerleader. He admits that “it’s certainly a female-dominated field”, but he keeps struggling to achieve his aim, despite his parents’ attitude and other minuses. The important thing is that he is on the field when the players are there and that he can enjoy the victory with them. Not to neglect the pride of seeing himself on TV, while drinking beer, Foster’s of course, with his mates in a bar.
