Citroën has launched a cinematic new ad for the Citroën C3 Aircross, blending humor and adventure to highlight the vehicle’s exceptional comfort.
The advert opens in the woods, where a brown bear prepares for hibernation. However, upon spotting a family driving away in their Citroën C3 Aircross, he envisions himself and his companion inside the car, enjoying its cozy interior and their favorite hibernation mix playlist. Unable to resist, he decides to follow them. Before long, the entire forest of bears joins the pursuit, with some even leaping from trees in a desperate attempt to stop the vehicle. One bear goes so far as to topple a tree onto the road, while another nearly lands on the car.
As the family finally manages to escape the chaotic chase, the ad concludes with the on-screen line “No one can resist the comfort.”
The song playing in the commercial is “I Don’t Wanna Live Without Your Love” by the American rock band Chicago, released in 1988.
Citroën is renowned for its witty advertising. In a recent campaign for the ë-C4, the brand playfully suggests that no force in the universe can resist comfort. The spot follows a woman and her alien companion as they speed along the highway in an ë-C4, evading police cars and helicopters to reach a departing spaceship. But after an emotional farewell, the extraterrestrial unexpectedly pushes the woman aboard, only to take off in the Citroën himself, proving that even beings from another planet can’t resist its comfort.
