Coca-Cola reminds us that Christmas always finds its way in its festive ad, created in partnership with agency OpenX.
The spot features a young man who prepares a dish using one of his grandmother’s old recipes, handwritten in a notebook. As he does that, from the moment he begins till the moment he takes the tray out of the oven and is ready to bring it to the table, the old lady is shown standing by his side.
When the protagonist takes a seat at the table, together with his family and friends, viewers get a glimpse of the grandmother’s portrait, hung on the wall.
“Christmas always finds its way” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial, which is also available in Spanish.
The brand’s “Real Magic at Christmas” includes three short films, shot on three different continents, in collaboration with PRETTYBIRD’s roster of award-winning directors, that aim to illustrate how the holidays always bring people together.
The films are now streaming on Amazon Prime Video in more than 100 countries and on YouTube in the Philippines, New Zealand, Argentina, Chile and Bolivia.
