C&A showcases its Christmas collection in a new ad, encouraging people to #rockxmas this year.
The 20-second spot opens with the #thattimeoftheyearagain hashtag and a bored family around the table. The atmosphere changes completely when, encouraged by a relative, a young woman starts playing music on her phone.
Everyone is up, showing off their dance moves and their festive outfits. Even the last woman who was still sitting, her eyebrow raised, stands up and joins the others, dancing and having fun.
Among the pieces shown throughout the ad are a black jumpsuit with lace and glitter details, mock waistband, two slit pockets, and in-seam back zip, a black figure-accentuating dress with a glittering rose trim, with boat neck, sleeveless, that clings snugly to the body and highlights the curves, and a red fit & flare dress, above the knee, with fine lace, mesh and crochet details on the neckline and figure-enhancing seam at the waist for women.
The men’s line-up includes a blue mix-and-match velvet waistcoat, slim fit, a matching velvet suit jacket, a red slim fit tailored jacket, split suit trousers, wool trousers with a slim fit design, and more.
Set to a catchy dance tune, the commercial ends with the brand’s tagline, “Feel Good Fashion,” flashing across the screen, while the party guests are still seen dancing.
