Mercedes-Benz showcases the all-new Mercedes-Benz A-Class in a new commercial, that focuses on the MBUX – Mercedes-Benz User Experience.
The almost 2-minute long film follows two girl friends on a road trip with the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class as they cross numerous items off their bucket lists with the help of the MBUX. The smart assistant provides them with all the information they need on their journey, from information on distances, routes, weather, the nearest ice cream store. It plays music, opens the sunshade when asked, as well. On their journey, packed with lots of unique experiences and visits to different places where they get a key chain as a souvenir, the two young women skydive, even if one of them initially thought she couldn’t do it, go fishing, hiking, and more.
The soundtrack music is the 2018 single “VHS” by Nashville-based producer Super Duper, from his 5-track EP titled just like the titular track, “VHS”.
The all-new Mercedes-Benz A-Class features a sporty and exciting design, with clear, organic forms and reduced lines, a flattened bonnet, narrow headlights and grille, combined with a contour that opens at the bottom, which make the front appear wider, narrow taillights that give the rear a wider appearance, as well, an interior with innovative materials (optional features include front Multicontour seats, climatised front seats, and sports seats with AMG leather upholstery in classic red/black) and advanced technology. MBUX – Mercedes-Benz User Experience, including a new revolutionary voice control system called “Natural Voice Control,” lets you talk to your car like you would to a friend and control many functions with your voice, from the radio to climate control and more. The touchpad and touchscreen, and even the buttons on the steering wheel react in no time to your touch.
Mercedes-Benz owners can also use The Mercedes me smartphone app, which lets them take their car wherever they go, even when they are not on the road.
