Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Advert Song

Sainsbury's Sport Relief TV Advert

Sainsbury’s promotes, in a new advert, the Sport Relief event, taking place from Saturday 17th to Friday 23rd March.

The spot, set to the rhythms of the song “Move Your Feet” by Danish pop duo Junior Senior, from their debut album, “D-D-Don’t Don’t Stop the Beat,” features a woman donning Sport Relief T-shirts and running for several days, regardless of the weather.

Originally released in July 2002 in Denmark, “Move Your Feet” was released worldwide in 2003 and became the duo’s biggest hit, reaching No. 3 in the United Kingdom and No. 20 in Australia.

Sport Relief brings Britains together every spring to get active, raise money and change lives. People are invited to take on an epic challenge: beat one billion steps a day, every day, for one week, buy Sport Relief products or make a donation at the Customer Service desk in Sainsbury’s stores or using the Coinstar machine.

The Sport Relief 2018 range also includes personalised wristbands, soft balls, pin badges, water bottles, deeley boppers, socks, lanyards, mugs, spinning wands, and a foldaway bag with prices ranging from £1 to £5. In addition, people have the chance to win great prizes with the Sport Relief scratch cards, available for purchase in store for only £1 each, with every penny going to Comic Relief.

The money raised is used to support those living with mental health issues, provide lifesaving maternal healthcare for mothers and babies, help people at risk of trafficking or domestic violence and join the global fight to end malaria.
