Samsung has released a new commercial for its next Unpacked event, on August 23rd, in New York City, where its next Galaxy Note device will be revealed.
The 30-second spot, released with the tagline “Do bigger things”, features the image of an S Pen deleting some words in order to deliver an empowering message. Thus, the giant urges viewers to act instead of talking, to leap instead of stepping, to innovate instead of updating, to lead instead of following, and to do instead of thinking, also highlighting that concepts like “closed”, “impossible”, “can’t”, “big” should be replaced by “open”, “possible”, “can” and “bigger”.
The song used in the ad is “Howlin’ for You” by American rock band The Black Keys, from their sixth album, “Brothers”, released in 2010.
The Galaxy Note 8, expected to feature many of the design cues from the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus and a dual-camera system, comprised of two 12-megapixel sensors, will serve as a long-awaited upgrade for Galaxy Note fans.
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will take place at Park Avenue Armory in New York City, starting from 11AM
EST, and it will be live streamed.
