Cartier has enlisted Kaya Scodelario to front the ad campaign for the brand’s new jewelry line, Clash de Cartier.
Created by Cartier’s in-house agency and directed by Gordon Von Steiner, the 30-second spot features the English actress mastering the art of duality. She’s playing two different versions of herself – one dressed in a long black evening gown and another one sporting a more rock-ish outfit – that face off to the tune of Billy Idol’s “Dancing With Myself (Live At Hatfield Poly)”.
Scodelario, announced the face of the new “Clash de Cartier” collection earlier this year, has thus joined the ranks of fellow actors and ambassadors Annabelle Wallis and Jake Gyllenhaal.
The collection, scheduled to be unveiled in Paris on 10 April, combines – according to the brand – “the aristocratic codes with a touch of irreverence and elegance”.
