Guiness Beer Always on My Mind Advert Song

Guiness Beer TV Advert

Guinness has released an ode to pubs ahead of reopening to celebrate the moment that pubs and bars up and down the UK can fully welcome back consumers after months of waiting and to remind them that “Good Things Come To Those Who Wait”.

The spot, created by AMV BBDO, London, opens with a series of black and white scenes depicting the lockdown atmosphere – socks on a washing line, a white cat napping on a black compost bin, empty streets, a fence abandoned before being completely painted.

As Jack Savoretti’s version of the classic song “Always on My Mind” plays, the ultimate black and white object that has been on our minds is shown – a pint of GUINNESS, in a pub, with our mates.

The end of the advert sees a group of friends enjoying GUINESS together and an onscreen line informing that Guiness has pledged £30M to support pubs. During the past year, over 25,000 UK pubs and hospitality businesses have been helped by the beer brand through its Raising the Bar programme. Guiness also showcased their commitment to supporting the industry by announcing a £1 million pledge to support bartenders when the pandemic first hit.
