Gucci has launched the Pre-Fall 2017 campaign, by Christopher Simmonds and Alessandro Michele, titled “Soul Scenes, that celebrates the soul scene of the 60s.
Set in the Mildmay club in London, the 15-second spot features a cast of black models dancing in a colorful dancehall, on the rhythms of the song “The Night”, written by Bob Gaudio and Al Ruzicka and performed by Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons.
The Pre-Fall collection, which includes 86 looks, as well as the feeling of freedom given by music and dance, is captured by photographer Glen Luchford.
The pieces bring floral prints, logos, embroidered and appliqué menagerie of animals (tigers and snakes and dragons) and other high-fashion embellishments in the spotlight.
