American Pie stars Jason Biggs and Seann William Scott reunited on set for a new DoorDash commercial.
The spot features Biggs opening the front door to receive packages from a DoorDash delivery man. “Ugh, this is going to be the best summer ever,” he exclaims. At this point, Scott (aka Stifler) pops up behind the delivery man, asking his old friend “What did you just say?”
“You better not be saying that this summer is going to be better than the one we spent together, buddy. I mean the parties, the pranks, the wet stuff,” he says. A little bit confused, Biggs tells Scott he lost him on that last one and admits that it was indeed fun, although he didn’t have the DashPass back then. He explains that with this DashPass he gets five weeks of exclusive deals, which is incredible.
Scott then takes the milkshake that Biggs holds in his hand and slurps it down, declaring “That’s the second best thing that’s ever happened in my mouth”. “It’s like they’re making a bunch of little flavor babies in there,” he says, which makes his buddy ask him to not say that.
Realizing that his old buddy throws a party and he wasn’t invited, Scott gets inside and goes towards the pool, where the guests are hanging out. Worried about what might happen next, Biggs rushes after him, asking everyone to go in the pool.
At the end of the commercial, the voiceover says “That’s your best summer with Summer of DashPass” and urges viewers to sign up now. Onscreen lines inform that this service offers member-only experiences and exclusive deals.
The summer of DashPass starts on June 15 and offers five weeks of exclusive deals for members. Each week has its own set of steals from fast food spots including Taco Bell, Wendy’s, and Starbucks plus a bunch of discounts at stores like Walgreens, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and 7-Eleven.
