The world’s leading floral delivery service Teleflora has unveiled its Christmas commercial, highlighting how family traditions and being with loved ones are the most important things on holidays.
The spot tells the story of Ella, a young girl who lives with her father and longs to spend Christmas with her grandmother. When she receives a beautiful holiday floral arrangement from Teleflora, she believes her nana won’t come to visit her for the winter holidays and is deeply saddened. However, she loves the bouquet so much she does everything with them. She plays with them as if they were a person, she makes a painting of them and she even tells them “good night”. One night, right after whispering “good night” to the precious flowers, which are carefully placed on her nightstand, she hears her nana’s voice wishing her “good night”.
The end of the commercial, which is scored by the instrumental version of “Silent Night,” sees the girl reuniting with her grandmother and hugging her, full of joy.
Teleflora’s holiday campaign also includes a social contest called “Love Out Loud”. From November 18 through December 6, consumers can post a photo of their favorite holiday memory on Instagram, tagging @Teleflora and using the #LoveOutLoudContest hashtag. They also need to write down what it would mean to them to be reconnected with family for a chance to win round-trip airfare and Teleflora bouquets for a year. This holiday season, Teleflora will be reuniting 21 families across the country.
