Abominable (2019 Movie Trailer)

Universal Pictures has released the trailer for the upcoming DreamWorks Animation and Pearl Studio’s co-production Abominable.

Written and directed by Jill Culton, the 3D comedy adventure film follows Yi, a teenage girl who encounters a young Yeti on the roof of her apartment building in Shanghai, and embark, together with her mischievous friends, Jin and Peng, on an epic quest to reunite the magical creature, whom they name “Everest,” with his family at the highest point on Earth. Their mission is not easy, though, as a wealthy man called Burnish, helped by zoologist Dr. Zara, is intent on capturing the Yeti. Moreover, Everest must also overcome his greatest fears while traveling through different dimensions.

The voice talent includes Chloe Bennet as Yi, Tenzing Norgay Trainor as Jin, Albert Tsai as Peng, Eddie Izzard as Burnish, Sarah Paulson as Dr. Zara, Tsai Chin, and Michelle Wong.

The trailer gives viewers a glimpse into the adventures of the three friends as they journey with Everest and try to escape the evil Burnish.

Abominable, which was first titled Everest and marks the first DreamWorks animation movie to take place in the winter time, is due to be released on September 27, 2019 in USA and on October 11 in the UK.
