Jimmy Choo has launched its Spring/Summer 2018 campaign for both women and men, starring Anja Rubik and Clément Chabernaud.
The two models play two “provocateurs” in New York City, where they live in two separate apartments but with a view toward each other. Rubik is seen throwing her shoes, a pair of ballet pink shadow coarse glitter fabric and nappa leather pumps (MICKY 85 – $795) in a chair, near her Locket Petite bag ($1.495), which is a cacao suede and red plexi shoulder bag, after coming back home and putting on music. What ensues is a game of seduction, the “neighbors” starting to show off their Jimmy Choo pieces, including stunning shoes, outfits, and eyewear.
According to the luxury fashion house, the Spring Summer 2018 Women’s collection focuses “on the beauty and form of natural elements” and showcases re-worked classics and new styles Micky, Dacha and Lane. Among the items Rubik is donning in the ad are nude cork pointy toe pumps (MICKY 100 – $750), Natural Cork Sandals with Jewelled Buckle (DASHA 85 – $950), Tea Rose Metallic Leather Sandals (LANE 85 – $750), and others.
The men’s collection, inspired by the Mod movement of the ’60s, includes re-worked classics Foxley and Grove and an exciting addition into the brand’s loafer category, Tim, which is in dark pavone metallic calf leather and pony skin and features a snaffle with a stone that takes approximately four to five weeks to produce.
The pieces are available for pre-order at Jimmy Choo website.
