T-Mobile Commercial Song: Babysitter

T-Mobile Commercial Babysitter

T-Mobile promotes its Unlimited Plan, enabling you to get 4 lines of unlimited data for $40/month, with auto pay, in a hilarious new ad, alluding to the hidden fees practiced by other networks.

The 30-second spot features a couple returning home and asking the babysitter what’s going on, seeing their little boy sleeping on the floor, with his head on a pizza box, and their daughter cutting the dog’s hair. The babysitter, a young blonde girl, answers that she’s babysitting and specifies that “that would be $50”. Surprised, the dad reminds her that she initially said she wanted $30. “Well, it was $30 before my fees, like the pizza ordering and the dog sitting… and the rummage through your closet fee.” – explains the teenage girl, making the dad ask himself “Who is she? Verizon?”. Looking at the babysitter’s feet, the mom asks – already hinting the answer – if the shoes she’s wearing are her heels, and the answer is, as expected, positive, the babysitter mentioning that they are the same size… in shoes.

The spot ends with the voiceover stating that the T-Mobile taxes and fees are already included so you get 4 line of unlimited for just $40/month and adding the tagline “The price we say is the price you pay”.

The music playing at the end of the commercial is the country-leaning dance-pop song “I’m Stuck”, the latest single by Noah Cyrus, released on May 25. Noah Cyrus (17), the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus and little sister of Miley Cyrus, will release her debut album, NC-17, later this year.
