The Great Wall (2017 Movie)
From visionary director Zhang Yimou comes The Great Wall, the largest film ever shot entirely in China.
The fantasy action movie, starring Matt Damon, Willem Dafoe, Pedro Pascal and Chinese actors Andy Lau, Zhang Hanyu and Eddie Peng, tells the story of an elite force making a valiant stand for humanity on the world’s most iconic structure.
With a US release date set for February 17, 2017, after a three-month postponement, The Great Wall is due out in China in December.
The official trailer has been released, featuring thousands of men working on building the wall (which is 5500 miles long and took 500 years to build), Mat Damon as a warrior, and a man taken away by a giant creature coming from mist.
The soundtrack music is done by Ramin Djawadi.
