Toyota has launched a new ad campaign to promote the all-new 2018 C-HR Crossover, described as “a daring crossover” and “the best partner to claim your destiny”.
One of the 60-second spots, titled “Cinderella”, features a young woman who shows up at a fashion show like a
modern Cinderella, helped by two friends that create for her a unique dress while they’re all together, on their way, in a new Toyota C-HR. The ad, set to the rhythms of “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo”, which was introduced in the 1950 film Cinderella, highlights that the C-HR features the Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, which is reads lane markers under certain conditions and provides a visual and audible alert, and slight steering force when lane departure is detected, helping the driver to avoid incidents.
The woman shows up at the fashion show, making quite an entrance with her original outfit, and leaves a few minutes before midnight, losing a shoe on the red carpet.
The spot ends with the woman leaving her shoe on the stairs and getting in her C-HR, where her friends have been waiting for her.
The new Toyota C-HR, available as XLE (starting $22.500) and XLE Premium ($24.350), in various colors, from Silver Knockout Metallic and Ruby Flare Pearl R-Code, to Radiant Green Mica R-Code, and Black Standard Pearl, features a stylish and intuitive interior space that’s clearly designed for a passionate driver, a “precision-cut, diamond-like exterior styling”, and Standard Toyota Safety Sense P, including Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Automatic High-Beams.
