BBC Two Documentary 2016: The Mystery of Van Gogh’s Ear

BBC has released the trailer for the upcoming documentary  The Mystery of Van Gogh’s Ear, which follows how one of the art’s greatest mystery has been solved by an amateur.

“People made jokes about Van Gogh’s ear, but really what happened that night was pretty disturbing. One woman’s startling quest to find the truth has stunned the art world”, says the voiceover about Bernadette Murphy, dedicated art lover who, after seven years of research, has found out what really happened with the painter’s ear.
Rebecca Front will be reading from Bernadette Murphy’s book ‘Van Gogh’s Ear: The True Story’ for BBC Radio 4’s Book Of The Week, starting on Monday 25 July at 9:45am.
