Beats has teamed up with A$AP Rocky to promote its Beats Studio Pro headphones.
The rapper stars in a commercial that he directed, as himself, on a mission to bring home some baby diapers for his 1-year-old son, RZA. In the opening of the ad, Rihanna’s voice is heard in the background, asking Rocky, her partner, to go to the store and buy some diapers. He immediately throws on his Timberlad boots, ties a white T-shirt around his braids, then puts on his Beats Studio Pro headphones, and heads out. Followed by a group of doppelgangers, A$AP Rocky leaps over trash bins and skids on top of cabs and eventually pulls up to the AWGE Bodega and buys AWGEY’s Diapers that features an adorable photo of his little boy on the package. His diaper run is not easy at all, though, as dozens of papparazzi chase him down the street.
Once he returns home, though, he gets some bad news. “Babe! You gotta go back,” Rihanna yells from the other room, explaining that those are the wrong size, just seconds after he sits back down at his studio set-up.
The soundtrack music features his new single, RIOT (ROWDY PIPE’N), produced by Pharell and included on his upcoming fourth studio album, “Don’t Be Dumb”.
The Beats Studio Pro headphones, which come in four premium colors – black, deep brown, navy and sandstone – are now available at the Apple store and Apple.com for $349.99 in the U.S., Canada, France and Germany, as well as at authorized resellers.
