Argos highlights, in its latest ad, that you can now shop or pick up Argos products at hundreds of Sainsbury’s stores across the UK.
The spot features a man transporting his family in military helicopter to a resort, where they planned to spend their holiday. On the way, he and his wife realize they still need some things, like a tablet for one of their two boys to make them stop fighting over the one they have, a BBQ, and a battery pack for their teenage daughter’s mobile phone. The voiceover mentions the (Fast Track) Same Day Delivery, offered by the retailer for orders placed before 6pm, and the customers’ possibility to collect in stores and in Sainsbury’s, and adds the tagline “You’re Good to Go”.
The soundtrack music is “Summer Holiday”, a song recorded by Cliff Richard and The Shadows for the film of the same name. Released as the second single from the film in February 1963, it went to number one in the UK Singles Chart for a total of three weeks.
Argos Fast Track Same Day Delivery service enables customers to get their products delivered in as little as 4 hours, for just £3.95. Not all products, though, are subject to this offer: only those with the Fast Track badge on them can be delivered. Once they placed the order, customers can choose one of the following four delivery time slots: 7am-10am, 10am-1pm, 2pm-6pm and 7pm-10pm. They will be given a 2 hour delivery window within the chosen time slot, and will receive an additional message when the delivery man is 30 minutes away.
The Fast Track Collection enables customers to pick up their items in-store from the dedicated Fast Track counter for free, any time in the next 7 days.
Argos now offers free vouchers for any purchase between Wednesday 25th April and Tuesday 1st May 2018. When you spend between £50 – £99.99 in one transaction you will get a free £5 voucher and when you spend £100 or over in one transaction you will get a free £10 voucher. These vouchers can be used until 22nd May 2018.
