Lucozade Sport continues the “Made to Move” campaign with a new film, starring IBF Heavyweight World Champion Anthony Joshua.
The life of the 27-year-old British professional boxer is compressed in a 90-second clip, featuring images from his
early childhood, in Warford, where he was born in 1989 from Nigerian parents, from his school years, when he excelled at football and athletics, broking the Year Nine 100m record, from when he was working as a bricklayer before taking up boxing full-time, from when he was put in Reading Prison for what he describes as “fighting and other crazy stuff”, and was made to wear an electronic tag on his ankle when released, to the fight against Dillian Whyte in for the vacant British Heavyweight title on 12 December 2015, whilst also defending his Commonwealth Heavyweight title for the first time.
The soundtrack music is “Kettering” by American indie rock band The Antlers, from their 2009 album “Hospice”.
Joshua started his partnership with the UK’s leading sports drink brand, as its ambassador, in 2016, to help strengthen its Summer of Movement Campaign with FitBit.
Anthony Joshua will face Wladimir Klitschko in a highly-anticipated match slated for April 29, at Wembley Stadium, in the UK.
