This February, Gap launches the Archive Reissue collection and collaborated, in this regard, with director Kevin Calero to create “Generation Gap”, an homage to the classic Gap campaigns of the ’90s, starring children of the icons featured in the original ads, such as Evan Ross (in the sleeveless icon Gap shirt), Lizzi Jagger (in the zip hoodie), Rumer Willis (in the oversized jean jacket), TJ Mizel (in the arch pullover hoodie), and Coco Gordon (in the icon leather jacket and short-sleeve mockneck).
The limited-edition line of iconic denim, khakis, and tees (pulled straight from Gap archives) is promoted by Naomi Campbell, who looks classic and fresh in the Pocket Tee. The 30-second spot titled “The Archive Reissue” starts with the supermodel introducing Generation Gap, take 1, and continues with the group of youngsters singing the 1991 single “All 4 Love” by the American contemporary R&B group Color Me Badd, from its “C.M.B.” album.
