The Hitman’s Bodyguard (2017 Movie) – Trailer Song

The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017 Movie)

The trailer for the upcoming action comedy The Hitman’s Bodyguard, starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson, has been released.

In the film, written by Tom O’Connor and directed by Patrick Hughes, Reynolds is the world’s top bodyguard, hired to keep Jackson, who is the most wanted hitman in the world, out of the harm’s way until he testifies at the International Court of Justice.

The trailer, launched with the message that “In a dangerous world, everyone needs a bodyguard” and with Whitney Houston’s hit single “I Will Always Love You” (from the soundtrack of the film “The Bodyguard”) playing in the background, features the encounter between the two men, which marks also their first fight. Reynolds punches Jackson in the nose because he was laughing at him and later, while leaving the place they met, tells him that he will last one hour without him. Some not so nice goodbye lines (such as “Fu.k you!” and “Eat my ass”) are exchanged, but, somehow, they end up working together and getting into all kind of risky situations. Judging by the confession the bodyguard makes to a guy, that seems a random street seller (“I hope they kill him, I really do”), he is not very fond of his employer.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard, starring also Salma Hayek, Elodie Yung, Gary Oldman, Kirsty Mitchell, Rod Hallett, Sam Hazeldine, Ori Pfeffer, Joséphine de La Baume, Bernardo Santos, Chris Brazier, and others, is set to be released this summer, on August 18.
