Kia Optima Commercial 2016 – Shoe Store
Kia Motors has released a new commercial, celebrating its status of NBA’s official partner and showcasing the new 2017 Kia Optima, the official vehicle of the NBA.
The 30-second spot, launched with the hashtag #JustBecauseOptima, features an Afro-American young man in a shoe store, trying on a pair of sport shoes size 19. Seeing that those shoes are obviously too large for him, the clerk asks him if he is sure he’s size 19 and not 9, but he insists to buy those.
“Just because you drive the official vehicle of the NBA doesn’t make you an official NBA player” – says the voiceover at the end of the ad.
