Lady Gaga stars in Valentino’s campaign for its new Voce Viva feminine fragrance.
The commercial, which is a collaboration between artistic director Pierpaolo Piccioli, director Harmony Korin, and Lady Gaga, was shot during quarantine in Los Angeles and features the Oscar-winning actress and musician, clad in a signature Valentino long red gown and with natural make-up, in a forest near LA, performing a stripped-down version of “A Shine From Above,” from her latest album, “Chromatica”. She is joined by a chorus of voices and diverse faces.
“With Valentino, the singer shares more than her Italian origins. A symbol of respect for individualities, and for everyone to find their place, LADY GAGA speaks to the same values as those of Valentino,” the Italian label stated in the description for the video.
The campaign, launched with the tagline “My Voice, My Strength,” aims to encourage people “to use their voice to share their values, diversity and beliefs,” according to the brand.
Voce Viva features notes of Italian bergamot, orange blossom absolute, vanilla, crystal moss accord, and comes in a bottle that has the brand’s iconic rock stud detail on the cap.
Lady Gaga is no stranger to fragrances. In 2012, she launched her own fragrance, called Fame.
