Metro by T-Mobile 4 Lines for $100 Penguins Commercial Song

Metro by T-Mobile Penguins Commercial

Metro by T-Mobile promotes its deal for the whole family in a new spot featuring animals. This time, the protagonists are a family of penguins.

The 15-second spot shows the penguin family talking about Metro’s “not new deal,” which consists in 4 new lines for only $100. Actually, only one talks and the other start shouting “Whaaat?” after hearing the news.
The ad informs that, if you switch, you can get 4 lines of unlimited high-speed data for $100/month plus 4 free phones from great brands like Samsung and LG.

The song playing at the end is the instrumental part of Usher’s 2004 single “Yeah!” featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris, from Usher’s fourth studio album, Confessions, released in 2004.

In the past, since launching its new advertising campaign, following the acquisition by T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile has also featured two wildebeests on the bank of a river, talking to each other, and two grizzly bears talking about the company’s new plans, that include unlimited high-speed data, Amazon Prime for entertainment and Google One for more storage.

MetroPCS’ change of name was announced in September 2018, more than five years after T-Mobile’s acquisition of the carrier. A new advertising campaign, informing about the new name and the new enhanced unlimited data plans, as well as about the fact that the company’s service runs on the same wireless network as T-Mobile, has been subsequently launched.
