KFC Chicken Dancing on Rap Song Advert

The first spot created by creative agency Mother for KFC UK, aiming to point out that only fresh, locally sourced chicken is used by the fast-food restaurant chain, features a real chicken.

The advert, titled “The Whole Chicken” and filmed over the course of two weeks, shows a chicken in a barn,
strutting on the tunes of DMX’s 2003 single “X Gon’ Give It To Ya”. The spot, that ran on July 16, during The Handmaid’s Tale on Channel 4, is part of a major campaign, supported by PR, social media, out of home and in store.

Mother, which won the account earlier this year, in March, succeeds BBH London, which had a 15-year relationship
with the fast-food restaurant chain.
