Morrisons promotes its Tiger baps, available at £1 for a pack of six, in a new advert released with the hashtag #GrowingUp.
The 40-second spot, dubbed “Tiger Rolls”, features a little boy on his first day of school, with a tiger-shaped backpack, as he goes to school with his older brother and sister who, obviously, are not as nervous as he is.
Luckily, the lunch break helps him find a friend with whom he has at least something in common: sandwiches made with tiger baps from Morrisons.
The voiceover mentions that these White rolls with a savoury glaze are made from scratch by their bakers on Market Street and says the supermarket chain’s tagline, “Morrisons Makes It”.
The song used in the ad is the 2015 single “Joy” by English recording artist Will Young, from his sixth studio album, “85% Proof”.
