H-E-B highlights, in one of its latest ads, its status of proud sponsor of the Texas State Parks Centennial and invites you to join them in celebrating by finding a Texas State Park near you.
“H-E-B’s commitment to taking care of Texas extends beyond our own isles to conserving and protecting the miles and miles of Texas State Parks,” the voiceover says in the opening of the 60-second spot, which features a diverse cast of individuals in various Texas State Parks, including Palo Duro Canyon, Caddo Lake, Longhorn Cavern, Inks Lake, and Sea Rim.
The commercial ends with the narrator urging viewers to join H-E-B in celebrating 100 years of State Parks by finding a park near them and learn more about the retailer’s sustainability commitment at ourtexasourfuture.com.
The soundtrack music is “Miles and Miles of Texas”, a song originally recorded by Jim McGraw And The Western Sundowners in 1961. The track was later covered by musical group Asleep at the Wheel, which recorded their version in 1976 as a single on their Wheelin’ and Dealin’ LP, released the same year, and Red Steagall, who covered it on his 1976 Texas Red LP.
