UK’s first online recruitment site, reed.co.uk, have launched a series of new ads to promote their services.
One of them features a young man stuck in a traffic jam on his way to work who decides to grab his coffee and walk instead. Thus, he leaves the car and steps on the other cars, climbing the trucks and sprinting on the cars and eventually arriving at the office delighted.
The song used in the ad is a cover of Labi Siffre’s 1971 hit single “It Must Be Love”, also recorded by ska/pop band Madness in 1981.
The spot is part of the company’s mission to make Britains love Mondays, which aims to highlight that nothing stops people from getting to work once they’ve found a job they love. The other adverts show employees battling through gale-force winds and braving the busy commute to get to work.
