Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled a gripping new trailer for the upcoming psychological thriller Verity, led by a star-studded cast including Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, and Josh Hartnett.
The story centers on Lowen Ashleigh (Johnson), a struggling writer teetering on the edge of financial collapse, who is offered an extraordinary opportunity that could change her life. She is recruited by Jeremy Crawford (Hartnett) to complete the remaining installments of a wildly successful book series originally penned by his wife, the celebrated author Verity Crawford (Hathaway), who has been left incapacitated after a mysterious and unsettling accident.
As Lowen immerses herself in Verity’s notes and unpublished materials, she begins to uncover disturbing truths that blur the line between fiction and reality, drawing her deeper into a web of secrets that may be more dangerous than she ever anticipated.
Based on the bestselling novel by Colleen Hoover, Verity is slated for a theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
