Not Suitable for Work is an upcoming workplace comedy from Mindy Kaling, set amid the relentless ambition and fast-paced energy of Manhattan’s professional elite.

The series follows five intensely career-driven twenty-somethings as they navigate demanding jobs, complicated relationships, and the elusive pursuit of personal happiness, if they can find the time for it.

At the center of the ensemble is AJ Pascarelli (Ella Hunt), a fiercely determined first-year analyst at a prestigious New York investment bank, whose high-pressure career leaves little room for anything else. Her closest friend, Abby Chilukuri (played by Avantika), is a sharp and resourceful assistant working for a notoriously demanding celebrity stylist, balancing glamour with exhaustion behind the scenes.

The group also includes Davis Barrett III (Will Angus), an energetic finance-world golden boy whose swagger conceals a more vulnerable side, Josh Teitelbaum (Jack Martin), an idealistic and intellectually driven New Yorker, and Kel Washington (Nicholas Duvernay), a medical student juggling grueling exams while secretly pursuing dreams of an acting career.

Overseeing part of this hyper-competitive world is Bill Gibson (Jay Ellis), a charismatic managing director whose success and influence embody the ambitions many of them aspire to achieve.

Blending sharp humor with the pressures of modern professional life, Not Suitable for Work premieres June 2 on Hulu.
