Apple rolls out a fresh advertisement showcasing the capabilities of Precision Finding on the iPhone 15.

The nearly three-minute clip kicks off with an individual, attired as a Mandalorian, tending to their cat, named Leia, before stepping out, iPhone 15 snugly secured on their utility belt. Clad in armor accented with red and blue, the protagonist embarks on a stroll through town, on his way to a Star Wars gathering. Upon arrival, amidst a sea of cosplayers, they struggle to locate their companions. Prompted by a text inquiry, the lead character receives a Precision Finding link, effortlessly pinpointing their friends’ whereabouts. Set to the rhythms of “All My Friends” by Channel Tres, the commercial concludes with the tagline “Relax, it’s iPhone.”

Precision Finding functionality is compatible with the iPhone 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max operating on iOS 17 or later. However, it is not universally available, requiring both the seeker and the sought-after individual to possess an iPhone 15 or newer model. Upon sharing the location, the seeker is presented with on-screen navigation, guiding them with an arrow indicating the direction and approximate distance to their target, simplifying the rendezvous.
