Dacia has officially launched the reveal video for its new Striker model, a vehicle conceived as an homage to the cars many grew up admiring, now thoughtfully reinterpreted through the lens of today’s contemporary design language and codes.

The Dacia Striker emerges as a newly introduced C-segment crossover estate, developed by Renault’s Romanian subsidiary, Dacia. Officially unveiled in full detail on July 8, 2026, the vehicle has been carefully designed to bridge the gap between three distinct automotive identities: the ruggedness of an SUV, the everyday practicality of an estate car, and the sleek, streamlined silhouette of a saloon. In doing so, it positions itself as a slightly long-roofed, athletically styled alternative to the traditional family hatchbacks and standard compact SUVs that currently dominate the segment.

Built upon the shared Renault–Nissan CMF-B platform, the Striker measures 4.62 meters in length, making it slightly longer than Dacia’s own rugged Bigster model, and lending it a commanding yet proportionate presence on the road.

Adding a nostalgic, energetic touch to the reveal, the song playing throughout the commercial is a spirited cover of the classic 1984 hit “Footloose,” originally performed by Kenny Loggins.
