Athleta Commercial Song | Your World, Your Rules

Athleta has unveiled a new campaign, evocatively titled “Your World, Your Rules,” one built around the powerful idea of making room for something entirely different than a world these women simply didn’t design themselves, a world they instead chose to reshape on their own terms.

To bring this campaign vividly to life, Athleta journeyed to the striking, otherworldly landscapes of Iceland, accompanied by three remarkable women, each embodying the campaign’s spirit in her own distinctive way: Jewelianna Ramos-Ortiz, a stunt actress and accomplished martial artist; Jordan Rand, a motorcycle racer and content creator; and Sofia Gianni, an archer and artist.

Together, these three women represent a shared philosophy: rather than waiting patiently for the world to make room for them, they instead took it upon themselves to forge and claim their own space entirely.

“They say we’re not built for this, but what they mean is it wasn’t built for us. And if it wasn’t built for us, who says we have to play by its rules? It’s been so long since I had a song. If I cut it all off, believe it, go. I don’t want no struggles. I don’t want no fears. I don’t want no struggles. I don’t want no struggles. My world, my rules,” the voiceover is heard saying in the ad.

The song featured in the commercial is Selfish Soul by Sudan Archives, released on September 9, 2022, by Stones Throw Records as part of the album Natural Brown Prom Queen.
