Outcome (2026 Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz Movie) Trailer Song

Outcome is a darkly comic exploration of fame, identity, and redemption, centered on Reef Hawk (played by Keanu Reeves), a beloved Hollywood star whose carefully curated image begins to unravel when he is blackmailed with a mysterious video that threatens to destroy both his reputation and career.
Forced to confront the possibility that his past may hold the key to his downfall, Reef sets out on an intensely personal journey, supported by his lifelong friends Kyle (Cameron Diaz) and Xander (Matt Bomer), as well as his sharp-witted crisis lawyer Ira (Jonah Hill). Together, they navigate a web of memories, regrets, and unresolved relationships, as Reef attempts to make amends with anyone he may have wronged, hoping that somewhere along the way, the identity of his blackmailer will come to light.
Co-written and directed by Hill, the film brings a distinctive, introspective lens to Reef’s chaotic yet ultimately cathartic journey. What unfolds is a nostalgic and often surreal trip through his past, where humor and vulnerability collide, and where confronting long-buried truths may be the only path to reclaiming his future.
I won’t say that I was hiding a heroin addiction from the public and that my best friends and my insane lawyer helped me cover it up for years,” Reef Hawk is heard saying in the trailer.
Alongside Reeves, Diaz, Bomer, and Hill, the ensemble cast features an eclectic mix of talent, including Martin Scorsese, Susan Lucci, Laverne Cox, David Spade, Atsuko Okatsuka, Roy Wood Jr., Kaia Gerber, and Ivy Wolk.
The song playing in the trailer is “How Lucky” by Kurt Vile featuring legendary singer-songwriter John Prine, released in 2020 as part of Kurt Vile’s EP “Speed, Sound, Lonely KV.”
The track is a rendition of John Prine’s original song How Lucky, first released in 1978.
“How Lucky” by Kurt Vile featuring John Prine is available for purchase on Amazon as MP3 ($1.29) and for unlimited streaming.
