INEOS Grenadier TV Advert Song – Born In A Pub. Built For More

INEOS invites audiences to discover the origins of the INEOS Grenadier in its latest advertisement, “Born In A Pub. Built For More,” revealing how the idea for the vehicle first took shape over a pint during a conversation in a pub. The film traces the unlikely moment when a simple chat sparked the vision that would eventually lead to the creation of the rugged 4×4.
The INEOS Grenadier is a purpose-built, rugged 4×4 developed by INEOS Automotive, the automotive arm of the multinational chemicals group INEOS.
Conceived as a durable, uncompromising utility vehicle, it draws inspiration from the spirit of classic off-roaders and is engineered to perform in extreme environments, from temperatures as low as – 35°C to as high as 50°C. Practical design elements, such as hose-down interiors and safari roof windows, reinforce its focus on functionality and adventure-ready durability.
The concept for the Grenadier originated with Jim Ratcliffe, founder of INEOS. Following the end of production of the original Land Rover Defender (1983–2016) in 2016, Ratcliffe envisioned a modern successor that would retain the same rugged character and mechanical simplicity, creating a vehicle suited to the needs of farmers, explorers, and dedicated off-road enthusiasts alike.
The advertisement features a reinterpretation of Symphony No. 5 by Ludwig van Beethoven, offering a fresh rendition of the iconic classical piece.
Symphony No. 5 is one of the most famous pieces of classical music ever written. It was composed by Ludwig van Beethoven between 1804 and 1808 and premiered in 1808 in Vienna.
