Wonderful Pistachios is back with a humorous new ad positioning its products as “The Don’t Hold Back Snack.”
The 30-second spot features an office worker cleaning her desk with her hands encased in cement. She explains to a co-worker that, casually enjoys a bag of Wonderful Pistachios that she did this to stop herself from snacking. Her colleague suggests she try Wonderful Pistachios, calling them both “tasty” and “healthy”.
Frustrated she didn’t think of that herself, the woman slams her cement-cast hands on the desk, destroying it. In a final burst of frustration, she bonks herself on the head and collapses onto the floor.
The commercial ends with her colleague peering down at her in silence, offering no help, just a long, curious look.
