The Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands have announced a new partnership with America250, the bipartisan commission established by Congress to lead the nationwide commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. As the exclusive automotive sponsors of the initiative, these iconic American brands join a growing coalition of companies committed to engaging 350 million Americans in honoring this historic milestone.
To mark the occasion, the brands, part of the Stellantis automotive family, have launched a unifying campaign titled “America Made Us.” The campaign is designed to celebrate not just the vehicles themselves, but the spirit and heritage of the nation that shaped them.
The commercial features a montage of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles set against a powerful voiceover that echoes the campaign’s theme. The narration proclaims: “Do you know what vehicles today are made of? We’re made of city streets and founding principles, of revolution and freedom. We’re made of sweat, backbone, and communities. Friday night lights, Saturday night dreams, and Sunday morning redemptions. We’re made of rebels and hell raisers. We’re made of innovation, 100 years deep. We’re made of American spirit, of ideas and beliefs. When you think of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram, think of everything this country still stands for – because that’s what we’re made of. And America made us.”
In a poignant tribute to the brand’s storytelling legacy, the production team revisited the spirit of the acclaimed “Imported from Detroit” campaign. With permission from the family of Kevin Yon, the original narrator who passed away in 2018, the team used AI technology and archival recordings to recreate his voice, lending a familiar and powerful tone to the new spot.
Serving as soundtrack is Blake Shelton’s 2019 single “God’s Country”, from his compilation album “Fully Loaded: God’s Country”.
