Netflix has released the official teaser trailer for Wednesday Season 2 with Jenna Ortega returning as the titular Wednesday Addams.
This year, Wednesday will no longer be facing school life on her own, her younger brother, Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez), is set to join her at Nevermore Academy, beginning his own journey. At the same time, their parents, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez (Luis Guzmán) will be making more frequent appearances on campus, bringing a new and surprising challenge for the independent young detective.
“Wherever there’s murder and mayhem, you will always find an Addams,” the voiceover says in the trailer.
“Every family has dark secrets, Wednesday. And secrets can have deadly consequences,” Morticia is also heard saying.
The song playing in the trailer is “My Favorite Things” by The Lennon Sisters and Lawrence Welk.
”My Favorite Things” is a classic song originally from the 1959 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The Sound of Music.
