Paramount Pictures has released the trailer for the upcoming comedy movie “The Naked Gun”, directed by Akiva Schaffer.
When the world teeters on the brink of chaos, only one man possesses the rare skills to lead Police Squad into battle. Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson) rises to the challenge, carrying the weight of a legendary legacy.
The film acts as a legacy sequel to Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult (1994).
“Frank Drebin, Police Squad. The new version,” Liam Neeson is heard saying in the trailer.
Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, Kevin Durand, and Cody Rhodes also star in the movie.
The song playing in the trailer is ”Sound of da Police” by American rapper KRS-One, featured on his debut solo album Return of the Boom Bap, released in 1993.
The Naked Gun Trilogy Collection can be purchased on Amazon, available on DVD for $9.99 and on Blu-ray for $16.93.
