Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy, Kevin Bacon, and Milly Alcock star in the upcoming dark comedy series “Sirens”.
Devon (played by Meghann Fahy) becomes increasingly unsettled by the strange, unsettling bond her sister Simone (Milly Alcock) has formed with her new employer, the magnetic and mysterious socialite Michaela Kell (Julianne Moore). Drawn into Michaela’s intoxicating world of privilege and glamour, Simone seems lost in a lifestyle that feels more cult than career. Determined to pull her sister back, Devon stages an intervention, only to find herself facing a far more cunning and dangerous adversary than she ever imagined. Unfolding over one electrifying weekend at Michaela’s opulent beach estate, Sirens is a sharp, seductive, and darkly witty exploration of female dynamics, power structures, and the seductive lure of class.
The song playing in the trailer is “Anxiety” by American rapper and singer Doechii, officially released in March 2025.
“Anxiety” unfolds over a mesmerizing, eerie soundscape, sampling Gotye and Kimbra’s 2011 hit “Somebody That I Used to Know”, a song rooted in the melodic legacy of Luiz Bonfá’s classic composition “Seville.”
Glenn Howerton, Felix Solis, Britne Oldford, also star in the series created by Molly Smith Metzler, scheduled for release on May 22, 2025.
